Hello, my name is Matthew Johns, and I am the Ryle DECA President this school year! I am a Senior and this will be my third year in DECA. I have won state twice in two separate events(EIP and IMCP) and competed at ICDC both years. I’m also involved in FBLA, NHS, MHS Club, Key club and my youth group. I have competed in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism, Food Marketing, and Franchise Business Plan. I am also the Brass Captain for the Ryle Marching Band and a GO! Pantry Ambassador. Hi, my name is Vasavi Pinninti and I'm the 2026-2027 Vice President of Competition at Ryle High School. Throughout the past 4 years I have done a different event every year. So far I have done Hotel and Lodging Management, Quick Serve Restaurant Management, and Franchise Business Plan. Outside of DECA I also do FBLA, Photography, Math Honors Society, and play the guitar. My favorite thing about DECA and what I would recommend to any incoming members is to take up the chance to go on Power Trip or to ICDC because it is always an incredible experience where you can travel and make many friends!

II am a senior here at Ryle and I’ve been in DECA all 4 years and have done Principles of Hospitality and Tourism and Marketing Communication Series as events! Outside of school I spend my time working, painting event banners, and being with friends and family! My favorite thing about DECA is the versatility of what each member can take from it! Hello everyone! My name is Addison McMillen and I will be our chapter's Vice President of Operations this year. The past two years, I've competed in the  Sports and Entertainment Marketing individual series. I also participate in track, cross country, NHS, FCA, MHS, and am very involved at my church. I also love to scrapbook, travel, and listen to music! I'm looking forward to this year and everything Ryle DECA is going to do! 

Hello, Ryle DECA! My name is Nina Zurad, and I am the 2026–2027 VP of Events! I am a senior, and this is my fourth year in DECA. I am a three-time state champion and ICDC competitor in Travel and Tourism Team Decision Making with my partner, Jocelyn. Last year, I served as the VP of Membership for our chapter. Outside of DECA, I’m involved in varsity winterguard, colorguard, FBLA, RYL, and four honor societies. Additionally, I have had the privilege of completing both the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs (2025) and the Governor’s Scholars Program (2026)! In my free time, I enjoy baking, reading, shopping, and hanging out with my friends! I’m so excited to create fun events for us this year, and I can’t wait to see everyone there! Hello, my name is Jay Patel and I am the VP of Finance for Ryle DECA. In DECA I have only done one event, which is Principles of Entrepreneurship. I don’t just do DECA, I also participate in FBLA and Ryle Track. One of my favorite things about DECA is the community. I love hanging out with all my friends and rooming with them at different events.
